Description

Needing to rehome our 5 year old tri Merle border collie girl as we don’t give her enough time due to work and school commitments. She was 5 in August and we have had her since a pup, bought her from a hugely reputable breeder in Cumbria for border collies. She does have a grade 5 heart murmur but it has never bothered her, the vet did initially say she may not live passed 9 months old but she’s the most healthy dog that will run for miles and has defied all odds. She broke her leg when she was just 3 months old so is very very nervous around new people but is so friendly and maternal around mine and others children, she’s a quite happy around dogs and we also have a cat. We had this operated on and fixed but she doesn’t enjoy trips to the vets due to the trauma of it . She gave birth to a litter of puppies in February 2024, this was unplanned due to the neighbours dog getting into our back garden when she was in season - but she was the best Mummy to them til they were sent to their forever homes. We just cannot give her the time she needs since we’re working more and the children are at school and clubs. She needs to go to a home that can give her the attention she needs. Please message for more details or to discuss further.
