Description
Bear is our 5-year-old male. He’s a really friendly, happy dog who loves people, including strangers. He has been around children a little and we’ve never had any issues, but we’d be happy to arrange introductions if needed.
He’s very energetic (he’s not neutered) and loves to play. He’s trained, has good recall so can be let off lead, and knows commands like sit, wait, and even a few tricks. He’s very eager to learn and responds well to training.
He’s lived with our other dog his whole life and is good with dogs he knows. However, he can be reactive to unfamiliar dogs when out – barking or trying to get close, usually from excitement or protectiveness. We’ve been told this is due to lack of socialisation and is something that can be worked on.
He’d really benefit from a home where he can get daily walks, lots of attention, and space to move around.
