Description
Although Aurora is a baby Roborovski hamster she's already full of character. Her favourite things to do are running on the wheel and digging. She loves to dig around and 'redecorate' her enclosure in her own unique, sometimes chaotic, way,
Aurora loves her sand bath, coconut fibre and the wheel. She makes little entrances to her underground world and an extensive tunnelling network. There is little we know about what she's up to there and what's going on in her head. The only thing we know - Aurora is really fun to watch.
She is a little shy but still very young, and so can be tamed. She has been getting braver as time has gone on though, and has a lovely little personality. She is now comfortable taking treats out of my fingers and likes to stick around and watch me when I am near her enclosure.
Little aurora will make a great companion for someone who appreciates her shy but inquisitive nature!
Aurora will need an enclosure of at least 100 cm x 50 cm x 50 cm in order to thrive. She will also need a suitable variety of hideouts, substrates and enrichment.
