It is with great sadness that we are looking for a loving and permanent new home for Majik, our beautiful male Bengal kitten. This is solely because I have developed a medically confirmed severe cat allergy with ongoing asthma symptoms, despite medication, an air purifier, daily cleaning and keeping him out of the bedroom. This decision is entirely due to my health and is not because of any problem with Majik. Majik is affectionate, curious, playful and very people-oriented. He enjoys following us around the home and being involved in whatever we are doing. He has been extremely well cared for, and his weight has increased healthily from 2.2 kg to 2.7 kg during the month he has lived with us. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and litter-trained. Shortly after arriving, he was diagnosed with cat flu and ear mites. We completed all the required treatment, and at his veterinary follow-up on 15 August, the vet confirmed that he had fully recovered. His veterinary records are available. Majik has not yet been neutered because most of the past month was spent treating these conditions and allowing him to recover. He is being rehomed strictly as a pet and not for breeding. His new owner must agree to arrange neutering as advised by their vet and in accordance with the breeder’s requirements. His Petplan insurance has remained continuously active with no break in cover. We have also informed his breeder, who agrees that moving directly to a permanent new home would be better for him than undergoing several temporary moves. We are looking for a responsible, stable and caring home, ideally with someone who has experience with Bengal cats or understands that they are active, intelligent cats requiring attention, interaction and enrichment. He should remain an indoor cat unless he has access to a properly secured outdoor space. Majik’s welfare is our highest priority. We will therefore ask potential owners about their home, experience, working arrangements, other pets and plans for his long-term care. We will not rehome him on a first-come, first-served basis or release him for breeding. Please contact us with some information about yourself, your household and the home you could offer Majik.
