Description
Bunny is a gorgeous 11 month old, female golden retriever. She is extremely loving and thinks she’s a lap dog! Bunny knows basic commands- sit, down, stay, wait. She has some recall and is still learning to walk nicely. She had a 3 week residential training stint in December which helped her. She is crate trained, toilet trained and absolutely fine being left on her own for periods of time. She is up to date with vaccinations and is microchipped. She has just come into her first season so is yet to be spayed. Bunny is used to living with cats and is good with dogs on walks.
Bunny is looking for a new home through no fault of her own- we hoped she would be a good companion for our autistic children but unfortunately they are struggling to cope with her given how lively she is. Bunny is very energetic and needs lots of stimulation otherwise she becomes bored and can be destructive. Like most retrievers Bunny is a massive foodie and is inclined to help herself to food that is left within her reach.
Bunny needs an experienced home with people who have plenty of time for more training, lots of exercise and mental stimulation to keep her happy and calm. She feeds off my children’s hyperactivity and I don’t think that helps her to settle and behave. This is an extremely hard rehome so please only enquire if you can meet her aforementioned needs.
