Description

Rex is looking for a new home through absolutely no fault of his own, he is a lovely pup, good with people, cats and other dogs. Due to a marriage breakdown, working full time, having a chronic illness and now being a single mom I heartbreakingly don’t have the additional time to continue his training. He is house trained, just the occasional excited piddle. He knows bed, sit, down and leave (when he wants to listen of course typical dachshund). He needs more training on the lead as he still pulls and his recall is definitely dependant on the day. Some days he will only bark if there’s a knock at the door and others he’s barking at a leaf blowing by but of course very typical of his breed. He is very loving, loves cuddles and to curl up with you whenever he can. I’d like him to go to a home where he can have more company during the day & someone with the time to train him. He is chipped, up to date with flea and worming, I think he is due his top up vaccines any time now. He is still currently intact, he was raw fed for the first year and now is on Harringtons. Please don’t be fooled in thinking this is an easy decision to let him go because it’s not but I need to think of his wellbeing as well as my own, he is a very loved and adored little boy. He will come with all his toys and accessories including a Kong isofix dog car seat.
