Description
It is with a heavy heart that I’m having to re home our baby Mabel😩 this is a really hard decision for me to make, but my daughter isn’t coping well with an excitable and bouncy dog😩 Mabel plays well with children, my daughter is 5 and I’ve never had any concerns about Mabel’s behaviour with my daughter, but my daughter gets overwhelmed.
Mabel is crate trained, toilet trained, up to date with vaccines, flee and worming. She knows commands such as sit, paw, wait, go outside, come downstairs, out (out of the room) and into bed. She listens well when being told no, for example she sniffs around human food but if told no she leaves it alone. She’s a very cuddly doggy and loves being snuggled up to you on the sofa in the evening.
Mabel is very happy, healthy, playful and affectionate, she loves to play with anybody she meets. She’s very well socialised with people and also gets on well with my parents cockapoo so no issues with other dogs. She’s comfortable being left alone, we haven’t left her out of her crate yet when leaving her home but have a camera and she’s happy and content with being left. Mabel loves playing fetch, she’d go at it for hours😂
She sleeps well in her crate in the living room at night. Isn’t fussy with food, has had many dry foods and has happily eaten them all.
Mabel would benefit from continued training, she’s still quite ‘pulley’ when on the lead on walks, and she can bark and jump when seeing other dogs on walks but it’s out of excitement, if she gets close to one she just wants to play, but otherwise she’s a very well behaved doggy, just bouncy and excitable. She gets very excited when meeting people so does still have the occasional little excited wee when greeting someone. She doesn’t do the ‘cockapoo thing’ where they growl, snarl or bite when you take things from them, she’s more than happy for you to take something out of her mouth or take something off her that she shouldn’t have.
I’m happy to pass over all of her toys, bed, blankets and toiletries, unfortunately I can’t ****************** her crate as it’s my parents.
