Beautiful Nitsa is a 3-year-old Cypriot Pointer cross, around 20 kg, with a gentle, sensitive soul and the softest, most hopeful eyes. After spending her entire life waiting behind shelter bars, she is now finally learning what it means to feel safe.
And she is blossoming. 🌿✨
Since arriving in her foster home, Nitsa has made incredible progress. She is now going out on proper walks and even little runs alongside her furry friends — and she ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT. Her tail is starting to lift, her curiosity is growing, and although she’s still shy and cautious, she is becoming braver every single day. There is still a long road ahead, but she is finally moving forward.
💚 Nitsa’s Story
Found as a tiny puppy on the streets of Cyprus, Nitsa grew up in a shelter surrounded by noise, fear, and uncertainty. She watched countless dogs leave for loving families while she stayed behind, too quiet and too nervous to be noticed.
Now, safely in foster, she is discovering the world one small step at a time — garden play, sofa snuggles, gentle routines, and peaceful forest walks. She adores the company of other dogs and takes comfort from having calm canine friends around her. She’s also good with cats and enjoys quiet companionship.
What Nitsa needs now is a forever home willing to continue her journey — one patient enough to let her grow at her own pace, and kind enough to celebrate each tiny victory.
