Description
Meet Rock: The Big, Bouncy, Sofa-Hogging Boxer (10 Months Old)
It is with a very heavy heart that we are looking for a new forever home for our gorgeous Boxer puppy, Rock. He is a stunning fawn ("thorn") color with a beautiful white chest.
Rock is an incredibly sweet, affectionate boy. Sadly, his bouncy nature is a bit too much for our daughter, and he is overwhelming our smaller, senior dog.
Because we want what is absolute best for him and our family, we are seeking an owner who understands and loves the Boxer breed.
The Good Stuff
Fully House & Crate Trained: Rock has the basics down and respects his own space.
Great with Dog-Loving Kids: While our daughter is a bit timid around his energy, Rock is absolutely fine with children who love dogs and don't mind a big, enthusiastic puppy!
The Ultimate Cuddle Bug: In the evenings, Rock loves nothing more than joining you on the sofa. Fair warning: He fully believes it is his sofa. If you get up for a quick bathroom break, expect to return to a 10-month-old puppy fully spread out with zero room left for you!
Toy Enthusiast: He absolutely loves playing fetch with a ball and adores squeaky teddies (though the teddies usually don't last very long!).
️ Things You Need to Know
(Rock’s Quirks)
Very, Very, Very Playful: Rock is in peak puppy phase. He is incredibly boisterous, high-energy, and jumps around when he's excited.
Dog Friendly (With a Catch): He loves other dogs, but because of his size and bouncy style, any resident dog would need to be a larger breed who can confidently put him in his place and teach him when "no means no."
The Trainer Thief: While he is well-behaved, he has a weak spot for shoes. Do not leave your trainers lying around, or he will claim them as his own toys and have them out in the garden in a flash!
The Perfect Home For Rock
We are looking for a home without small or elderly dogs, purely due to his size and exuberant energy. He will thrive in an active household that can match his fun-loving personality.
