CHOPSEY LOOKS A LITTLE WILD. HIS PERSONALITY IS ANYTHING BUT. ❤️
At 11 months old, Chopsey is certainly a dog who gets noticed.
With his unusual markings and enormous ears, his foster family reckon there's a touch of African wild dog and hyena about his looks.
But underneath that rather exotic exterior?
A sensitive, soft-natured boy who loves a cuddle.
Chopsey is currently in foster in Glasgow, where we're getting to know the dog behind those fabulous ears.
He's medium-sized, beautifully clean in the house and doesn't bark much. He enjoys affection but also appreciates having his own space and time when he needs it.
He's still young and will need a patient family prepared to continue his training and let his confidence develop without rushing him.
Chopsey can live with cats and we think he'd really benefit from having a confident resident dog alongside him — a friend who can show him the ropes and reassure him when he's unsure.
Because Chopsey can be sensitive and needs people who will respect his boundaries, we're looking for a home with older, dog-savvy children rather than little ones.
He's only 11 months old.
He's already made it into foster.
Now we'd love the next home he settles into to be the one he never has to leave.
