Description

Here is our lovely Rio the Alexandrine. We have had him since he was 5 months old. He’s now around 10 months old. He’s such a funny and mischievous boy. He loves being out of the cage exploring the house up high. He has learned various whistles and alarm and ambulance sounds and occasionally says hello. He’s still quite young so a lot more training to do. He’s very friendly and happy to sit on your hand or head while you’re going around the house. He loves a shower once or twice a week and loves being outside on his lead listening to the other birds. We unfortunately have had a change in circumstances which means he is left on his own all day now. We feel it’s only fair to give him a chance with someone that has more time and experience with these birds. He’s still young enough to train and would be a great companion to his next owner. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about him. We are looking to sell him with his cage as he feels familiar with it and I don’t want to upset him any more.
