This handsome male Western Hognose is looking for a suitable forever home! With his lovely Conda pattern and interesting genetics, he would make a great addition to the right home. About him * Species: Western Hognose (Heterodon nasicus) * Morph: Conda, 100% het Albino * Sex: Male * Date of birth: 8th August 2024 * Weight: 63.6g (recorded 24th April 2026) * Length: Approximately 45cm / 15 inches * Health: Healthy * Feeding: Eating defrosted pinkies Personality and handling He is a friendly, handleable little boy who is used to being handled. Like many Western Hognoses, he can be a little more dramatic around feeding time! He may hiss and perform false strikes when he knows food is coming, but this is normal defensive behaviour for the species. He is otherwise a lovely little snake. Genetics He is 100% het Albino and comes from unrelated parents. His parents were a Conda and an Arctic Albino Superconda, giving him an interesting genetic background for anyone interested in Western Hognose genetics. Feeding and care He is currently eating defrosted pinkies. He will need a secure, appropriately sized enclosure with suitable heating, substrate, hides and enrichment. Western Hognoses have specific care requirements, so he is looking for an owner who understands the species and can provide the correct environment and long-term care.
