! We want nothing for Asta but a minimum price of £50 is required to advertise ! Asta is a friendly adventurous cat. She was previously a Bosnian street cat before being adopted by the family that owned her before us. She has never been able to shake her love for the outdoors. Her previous owners were unable to adjust her to being an indoor cat, and subsequently she reverted back to being a street cat. Unfortunately this resulted in her becoming extremely thin and dirty/matted. We found her several months back passed out from heat stroke/exhaustion during a heat wave, and after calling the RSPCA the owners chose to sign over ownership of her to us. Unfortunately she has still been unable to adjust to being an indoor cat — even when this makes it impossible to monitor her health and well-being! She is hardly ever home and seems to prefer wandering from house to house (including her old owners who we discovered are very close by!) Unfortunately due to a change of our circumstances, she is reluctant to come into our home at all, but still returns occasionally for food. We would like to find a new registered owner for her that is far enough away that she will not be confused about her territory/returning to old owners, or who feels confident in their ability to help her adjust to a life as a house cat. We are concerned about her wellbeing, but feel it is unfair on her that she does not wish to return to our home but seemingly has nowhere else to go. She is extremely friendly, gentle, confident, and loves attention from strangers. Please get in touch if you would like to take her under your wing!
