Description
The puppies are F1 Cockapoos. This means they are exactly 50% Pedigree Spaniel and 50% Pedigree Poodle.
Mum is Coco, a chocolate Working Cocker Spaniel. She comes from a line of champion working dogs from a farm in West Yorkshire. We don't work her however, she is one of my 3 family pet spaniels. She loves balls, sticks, zoomies, the beach, the woods, mountains and swimming in the sea/lakes, and sitting by our feet. Coco weighs around 11kg.
Dad is Archie the chocolate toy poodle (Kennel Club name Coppertones Charmer). Archie weighs 4kg.
He is fully health tested and you'll get copies of his health checks and Pedigree certificates. I've used Archie for other litters and he produces lovely curly brown puppies. Poodles were bred for companionship, meaning you'll get a fabulous family member if you take on a cockapoo pup.
You will get to meet mum Coco if you come to view a puppy. (Archie is a stud and does not live with me but I can show you a picture of him).
All puppies have their own character (just like humans), but generally Cockapoos will be energetic, friendly, intelligent, trainable, loving, and will also have a good off switch, especially if they are well exercised (physically and mentally). They will be used to sleeping in a crate, and going to the toilet on grass, but they will still take time to settle.
The puppies will be home reared and be used to household noises, and will also be used to other dogs. They come microchipped (legally required) and wormed. They will be accustomed to sleeping in a crate, and going to the toilet outside, but they'll take time to settle into a new home away from their siblings. You'll need patience - and lots of it!
Puppy parents will need to book their puppy in for vaccinations at 8+ weeks.
Your vet will usually recommend a puppy package to include vaccinations, worming, flea treatment etc.
Your puppy will be ready to go home to your family from 7 August so you can start planning their arrival š¾.
Cockapoos do not shed hair, so need very regular trips to the groomers. I highly recommend Shelleys Poochie Parlour for Cockapoos (Stamford) and she also does mobile now too.
You will need to arrange pet insurance. Cockapoos are generally quite hardy as they are a cross breed, but it's important you get your puppy covered from the date you take them home.
I only allow puppies to go to homes where there will be someone at home during the day to take care of them. Puppies need lots of human company, especially when they are babies. Puppies left alone for long periods will turn into anxious dogs, so this is really important for your future puppies happiness and well-being.
You'll also need a secure garden as they are adept at escaping as they are super inquisitive.
If you're interested, I'll need a few details:
Full Name
Address
Email address
Telephone number
Details of who will be home to look after the puppy during the day.
Puppy price will be £1350.
A £350 reservation fee is taken, with the balance payable on/evening before the day the puppy goes home.
Any questions please let me know!
Best wishes
