LAST BOY AVAILABLE – Purple Collar Boy | KC Registered Standard Poodle Puppy Only one puppy from our litter is still available and looking for his perfect family – our beautiful Purple Collar Boy. His brothers and sisters have now found their families, and we are looking for the right home for this lovely boy. Purple Boy is a gorgeous dark apricot Standard Poodle puppy with a beautiful rich coat and a lovely temperament. He has been raised with us as part of our family from the day he was born and has had a huge amount of time, handling and attention put into his first weeks of life. Both parents are fully health tested, including hip and elbow scores and clear eye tests. Mum is our much-loved family Standard Poodle, Willowood Showstopper by Perunelle, and can of course be seen with her puppies. Dad is MEMORYSTORM DAZZLING DIOR (Milo), a beautiful red Standard Poodle from Argentcymru. Milo was chosen not only for his looks and colour, but also for his lovely temperament and health testing. Raised in our home, not in kennels Our puppies are born and raised right in the centre of our home in our large open-plan downstairs living area. They are not kept separately from normal family life. From the beginning they have been exposed naturally to everyday household sounds and activity – the vacuum cleaner, washing machine, doors opening and closing, people coming and going, things being dropped and all the normal noises of a busy home. They are growing up around children, other dogs and cats, with lots of daily handling, cuddles, play and interaction. Our aim is for our puppies to leave us having already experienced as much normal family life as possible. Early training has already started We have already started introducing simple, age-appropriate training. Sessions are kept very short, positive and fun, but the puppies are already learning how to interact with people and use those clever Poodle brains. Standard Poodles are extremely intelligent dogs, and we believe their education should start long before they leave the breeder. Professionally prepared for a lifetime of grooming I am a professional dog groomer, so grooming preparation is a particularly important part of how I raise my puppies. Purple Boy is already being introduced to brushing, having his paws, face and ears handled, standing on a grooming table and becoming familiar with the normal sights, sounds and handling involved in grooming. A Standard Poodle will need professional grooming throughout his life, so I believe making this normal and positive from puppyhood gives him and his future owner a much better start. Purple Boy will leave us with: • Kennel Club registration with endorsements for breeding and export • 5 weeks free insurance • Microchip • Full veterinary health check before leaving us • First vaccination, if his new owner would like us to arrange it before collection • Forthglade and Butternut Box food that he is already used to eating • A blanket carrying the scent of mum and his littermates • A toy carrying the familiar scent of his littermates And please don't expect the blanket and toy to arrive perfectly clean! They are deliberately given to him with the familiar smell of mum and his siblings, so he has something comforting during those first nights away from the litter. We are looking for the right family We have put a great deal of time into this litter, and Purple Boy is not simply looking for the first available home. We are looking for a loving, responsible family who understands that a Standard Poodle is an intelligent, active and people-orientated dog who needs to be part of family life.
