Unfortunately I am looking to rehome my cat Fred, I have had him since he was 8 weeks old and he’s now 6 years old. The reason is that he can be quite temperamental and affection is mainly on his terms, he likes to be alone most of the time now he’s older and is very much an outdoor cat, but now I have a toddler who always wants to be around him he doesn’t like it and has been aggressive towards her so it isn’t fair on both of them, Fred needs a nice quiet home. I think the ideal person for Fred would be a single person on their own or a couple with no young children and not planning on having children, no others pets although he has lived with other cats, a lot of patience, access to a garden or somewhere safe to go outside and let him be able to roam and do his own thing. He is quite shy at first and might hide behind furniture but he is fine after a while, he very much likes being on his own and exploring outside but can be affectionate when he wants to be, he has been neutered and is microchipped.
