Meet Buddy, a gorgeous Chihuahua × Jack Russell looking for his forever home. ❤️ Buddy is a very loving, affectionate little dog who enjoys attention and being around his people. He has a lovely personality and, once he feels comfortable, can be a wonderful companion. Buddy is looking for a home where his boundaries will be understood and respected. He doesn’t cope particularly well with young children who are very hands-on, so we feel he would be best suited to a family with older, sensible children who understand how to give a dog his own space, or an older/retired couple looking for a loving companion. He can be a little nervous when he feels overwhelmed and prefers to have his own space rather than being constantly handled. Because of this, his new family will need to be patient and allow him time to settle and build trust. Buddy is also still working on his toilet training, so his new owner will need to continue with consistent training and routine. 🏡 Ideal home: * Older children who understand dogs and boundaries * Or a calm couple/individual * Someone patient and willing to continue his training * A home where he can have his own quiet space * Lots of love, patience and reassurance ❤️ Buddy really is a lovely, affectionate boy who deserves a home that understands his needs and gives him the time and space to flourish. 🐾❤️ DOB: 21-2-2022.
