Here I have my crested gecko that I haven’t long gotten. Had for about a month and a half. He’s beautiful and has been starting to slowly bond by taking food from me and getting used to handling. He’s got uvb light. Heat Matt for back of enclosure. Hides and climbing stuff. Some formula food will come with and some more substrate and tongs and spoons. Enclosure is 45 x 45x 60. Over 100 just for the enclosure and with him and the all the lighting and everything around 300 so good price. He is eating crickets. Hes so lovely. But here is the issue. I have two cats. Which obviously we thought about before having him but we knew we could handle him when there are out and in night when they in bedroom. But what we didn’t expect was is my one cat to be obsessed with trying to sleep on top of his enclosure which has been bending the mesh on top. We can’t move him to any other room as this was the only place we knew his enclosure could fit. And we’ve had to replace the lid once already as it caved in slightly and he got out as the mesh had big gab and in so lucky that the cats didn’t get him. So unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be. He will have a better home with someone who can have a dedicated room for him or animals that don’t want to jump on it 😂
