Description
With really difficult decision, we decided to rehome one of my lovely kitties, Mico, who will be missed dearly by us.
Due to few reasons - that is in no fault of his own - surrounding change of personal circumstances in our life - we
no longer have the time or attention that he deserves, and as difficult
and sad it is to even think of the idea of rehoming him as we love him,
but we believe he deserves a lot better and more that we are not able to
provide unfortunately. Very shy and skittish cat at first, but once he gets to know you and warm up to you, he loves and usually craves human attention a lot,
and loves to be within a person's/people's company a lot of the time.
Another main reason is due to him unfortunately not getting along well
with my other female cat - despite being bonded for a long time together
since they were younger - he tends to bully her often, We have in our best efforts attempted to divert that attention from her into playing with him, giving him more consistent attention, and we
have tried our best to do this for a long time, but unfortunately it has not
improved. Therefore it is worrying and not fair on both of them.
He loves and usually craves human attention a lot, and loves to be within
a person's/people's company a lot of the time once he warms up to the
owner. He can be very shy and nervous in the beginning and needs a
longer time to warm up to new people and new surroundings, so he
should be treated gently and patiently.
He has been an indoor cat all of his life however I believe he would love
the opportunity to explore the outside and roam, and ideally a large space
indoor/outdoor for him to roam and explore.
Ideally he is suited to either families, couples or elderly, and someone to
be at home most of the time to look after him and giving him the
attention that he deserves and needs. He is an incredibly friendly and
loving cat, is very calm and loves to be pet.
He tends to be naturally a more vocal cat than others, and loves food
very much so is not a fussy eater at all :) he loves communicating.
Preferably that he is rehomed to someone who has had experience with
cats and has other cats that are playful with other cats.
Currently he eats mainly wet food, with a little bit of dry kibble sometimes. He is on scheduled feeding as he tends to overeat a lot - he is fed around 3 times a day in potions.
Litter advice: he tends to be a standing pee-er or pee accidentally outside of the box so ideally a tall/high sided litter box :)
He is a lovely boy and will cuddle and sleep with you and follow you around most of the time, he enjoys human company.š
He is also a very intelligent kitty as well and could learn some new tricks like high five with treats! š Would love to play with puzzle feeders and such.
Please message me if you are interested to give him a loving home, and I will try to make sure that he goes to a suitable owner whom I believe will be right for him.
