We are heartbroken to be advertising our mini dachshund Nelly for rehoming due to no fault of her own it is due to much much larger female of mine taking a strong dislike to my other female dogs which is gutting but I need to think about the safety and comfort of my girls
About Nelly
She is super super sweet once she knows you but can be nervous of strangers she would NEVER bite she just will avoid and warm up in her own time
She is also not vocal at all for a dachshund I have heard her bark maybe twice in her whole life
She is wonderful with kids also
She is super greedy loves her treats and raw food
She loves other dogs she knows and is very very playful always makes you giggle
She’s amazing off the lead she will never leave your side
She’s good with cats and other dogs but stranger dogs she will avoid and warm up in her own time
She’s house trained but I do crate her over night but this is because I have a few doggies and they would disturb us so it’s routine more than anything
I bought her with papers but she will not be leaving with them as I don’t want any breeders applying she cannot be bred from
Her parents were also fully health tested and she is super healthy
The home we would like to see Nelly is in a family home with some kiddies and perhaps another doggie for her to play with please do get in contact if this is something you think you could offer
