SUMMARY
Jewel and Petal, both females, are up for adoption through no fault of their own. My circumstances have changed drastically, with no longer working from home and now being married, and I am struggling to give them the care they need.
They will only be given to a loving home as a pair and not split, as they are attached as a flock.

Important Information:
These birds are intelligent, sensitive companions and are not suitable for children. They require daily interaction, mental stimulation, and consistent handling, as well as an understanding of hormonal changes during breeding seasons (Spring and Autumn), and access to a specialist avian vet.
They can also be loud in the mornings when they are full of energy and want to start stretching their wings and do zoomies in the morning around the room.
We are looking for an experienced or well-informed owner who understands the commitment involved, as cockatiel birds can live up to 25 years and require long-term care.

History/Background:
Petal and Jewel were originally adopted individually. Jewel was just a few months old in 2022 when she was adopted. Then, later, Petal was adopted in 2024 and created the duo!
Both are rescue birds. Jewel didn't know how to fly and was overweight when she was adopted. Petal was in poor health due to neglect and a poor diet. With time and love, both are now healthy, strong birds, great at flying and affectionate.
