Looking for a new home is our 2 year old male Miniature Dachshund, Izzy. Izzy is a very friendly, loving dog that wants nothing more in life than to cuddle his human and eat food. We are his original breeders, as we owned his mum, she had just the one litter and she now lives with my mum (she went to stay there on holiday and wanted to stay permanently). Therefore, I know that Izzy has no genetic health conditions (his mother was DNA health tested and the stud we used was also the same). His mum is a smooth coated Black & Tan carrying cream, piebald & long coat genes and his dad was exactly the same as Izzy, also carrying the same genes. In his litter. alongside him there was a black & tan long coat, 3 silver dapples and a chocolate and tan piebald dapple. It was an amazing litter. Izzy currently lives with 2 cats that he plays with and a French Bulldog. Him and our Frenchie are usually fine, however keep randomly fighting - this could be if someone is outside and they're both barking, sometimes it's around our children. I personally believe that it's our Frenchie that starts it however he is 6 years old and was here first unfortunately. This is the reason we're looking to rehome him, in addition to us having a toddler and a newborn, my wife's already present health conditions and I own my own tattoo studio so am out of the house alot of the time. He's just not getting the love and being cherished the way he deserves and should be and we know that someone else would give him all of that and more and get so much enjoyment out of him as a companion because he really does have such a lovely personality. Izzy is crate trained and good in the house. He walks fine on a lead too. We haven't really tried him around other dogs that much outside because our Frenchie has a go at everything and then he follows but I think on his own he would be more than fine. He is KC Registered however we will not be sending him with his papers as we would like him to go to a pet home only and not just be used as a stud dog. We think he would be best suited to someone that is home alot, that can give him tons of attention and love (that's all he ever wants), and give him all his favourite foods and spoil him. We are asking £550 for him however this can be negotiated to the right home. We're not greedy and honestly just want the best home for him. We would also like to know about the people interested in him and see the home he would be going to, and wont think twice about turning people down if we think they wouldn't be a good fit for him.
