Description

Blue is my child and has been my companion for the last 6 years. We go on long walks, cuddle in bed and go everywhere together. Recently I became a single mother to twin babies. Blue is amazing with them and has taken on the role of their protector. This means that he has gone from a care ****************** who roams far and wide off the lead to one who barks at everybody in sight and pulls me over when I walk him with my pram. Unfortunately this means I cannot walk him at all anymore as it is unsafe for the babies, who are 6 months old. I have been using dog walkers for now but long term this is not sustainable. Rehoming blue is incredibly difficult as he is my family. He unfortunately has gone from my smiley, emotional, happy boy to a huffing and puffing, deflated boy. I have a very specific home in mind for blue which would put my mind at rest as I know it’s where he would thrive the most and be happiest… I am looking for potentially a farm, with other dalmatians/dogs where blue can roam the fields daily. Maybe a Dalmatian breeder who keeps their dogs INDOORS would suit. Although I am rehoming him, it’s not something I want to do. I want him to form a life long connection with his new owner and for that reason I will be creating a legally binding contract which states if you no longer want him he must be returned to me and not re sold. I must visit the property to check its suitable/ see if blue is happy there. This may sound very demanding but there are a lot of people who don’t treat their dogs like their entire world and I don’t want that for blue, he deserves the best. I don’t expect regular updates as I understand I will no longer be his owner but it would be nice for him to go somewhere I can visit a couple of times a year to see him again.
