Beautiful British Shorthair Lilac Mother & Daughter — Loving Home Wanted 🩷
This is one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make, and rehoming my two beautiful girls is absolutely not something I ever thought I would have to consider. Unfortunately, my daughter has developed a severe allergy to them, and after trying to find another solution, I sadly don’t feel there is any other option but to find them a new, loving home.
Coco (pictured on the right) is my original beautiful British Shorthair. She went on to have a gorgeous litter of kittens, and one of those kittens was our very special girl, Goggles.
Goggles was born with an eye disorder and was sadly blind from birth. One of her eyes eventually had to be removed while she was still very tiny. I became incredibly attached to her from the very beginning. We named her “Goggles” because when she was just a couple of days old, her little face made it look as though she was wearing glasses — and the name has stuck ever since! 🥹❤️
Despite everything she has been through, Goggles is honestly the strongest, most loving and cheekiest little girl. She is completely blind, but you genuinely wouldn’t know it. She has absolutely no trouble finding her way around and navigating her surroundings, and she never fails to amaze me with how confident and capable she is.
Coco and Goggles are mother and daughter and have always been together, so they will only be rehomed as a pair. I would not consider separating them.
Neither girl is registered, although they have that gorgeous classic British Shorthair “teddy bear” appearance. Both are currently not neutered.
Coco is microchipped. Unfortunately, Goggles was never microchipped. As a tiny kitten, she had already undergone such a major operation, and as she has always been an indoor house cat, it unfortunately slipped my mind and I never got around to having it done.
This is a decision that has completely broken my heart. These girls are incredibly loved and are a huge part of our family, so finding the right home for them is more important to me than anything else. I want them to go somewhere where they will be cherished, kept safely indoors, and treated as part of the family for the rest of their lives.
There will be a rehoming fee. This is absolutely not about making a profit from them. The fee is purely there to help ensure that they go to the right people and a genuinely loving, committed home. If you genuinely feel you could be the perfect home for these two beautiful girls and would give them the love, care and patience they deserve, please send me a message.
Please understand that this is not an easy rehoming and I will be very particular about where they go. They must stay together. 🩷🐾
