Our gorgeous family Cavapoo, Lula, welcomed her beautiful litter of five F1b Cavapoo puppies on 2nd August 2026 – four girls and one boy. Affectionately known as “The Puddingtons”, we have: Brownie Tiramisu Sticky Toffee Trifle Crème Brûlée This is Lula’s first litter and the puppies have been born and raised right in the heart of our family home. I have been with them from the moment they arrived and have loved watching their individual little personalities begin to develop. Health testing The health of Lula and her puppies has been incredibly important to me throughout the whole process of planning this litter. Both Mum and Dad have undergone comprehensive 360 health testing, with testing covering the relevant inherited conditions from the breeds within their lines. Lula has been health tested with consideration given to both the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Poodle sides of her breeding, rather than simply carrying out the minimum testing. Mum – Lula DNA testing — Laboklin GM2 Gangliosidosis / Sandhoff Disease — Clear (N/N) Dry Eye Curly Coat Syndrome (DECC/CCS) — Clear (N/N) von Willebrand Disease Type I (vWD1) — Clear (N/N) Neonatal Encephalopathy (NE/NEWS) — Clear (N/N) Episodic Falling (EF) — Clear (N/N) prcd-PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) — Clear (N/N) Muscular Dystrophy (CKCS-MD) — Clear Macrothrombocytopenia (MTC) — Clear (N/N) rcd4-PRA / LOPRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) — Clear (N/N) Osteochondrodysplasia (OCD) / Skeletal Dwarfism — Clear (N/N) Eye testing BVA/KC/ISDS Eye Examination No breed-related adnexal or ocular conditions detected Heart testing Veterinary Certificate of Heart Testing No obvious heart murmur detected — Grade 0/6 No ectopics recorded No other heart abnormality recorded on the certificate Dad – Freddie Freddie is a carefully selected health-tested Miniature Poodle stud with a wonderful temperament. Freddie belongs to Lula’s breeder, which was really important to me when choosing the right stud for her. Freddie has been DNA tested clear for the following conditions, including all the tests recommended for the breed by the Kennel Club plus additional testing: DNA testing Degenerative Myelopathy (EXON 2) — Clear Neonatal Encephalopathy (NE) — Clear von Willebrand Disease (Type I) — Clear rcd4 PRA / LOPRA — Clear prcd-PRA — Clear Osteochondrodysplasia — Clear Eye testing Freddie holds a current clear eye test under the BVA scheme. This test is carried out annually. Hip testing Freddie has also had his hips scored, which is a newer recommendation of the Kennel Club, and has an excellent score. Copies of the parents’ health-testing documentation will be available for prospective owners to see. How the puppies are being raised The puppies are being raised entirely within our family home alongside their mum, Lula. They receive lots of gentle handling and individual attention and, as they grow, are gradually being introduced to normal household life, different sounds, surfaces and experiences. Over the coming weeks we will also be working on age-appropriate: • Socialisation and confidence building • Grooming and handling • Toilet training • Different household sounds and environments • Play and enrichment • Spending short periods away from Mum as they naturally become more independent I want their first eight weeks to give them the best possible foundations before they join their new families. Before leaving The puppies will be ready to leave for their new homes from Sunday 27th September 2026, when they are 8 weeks old. They will have received their appropriate worming treatments and will have a veterinary health check before leaving. Microchip and first vaccine. Each puppy will also leave with a puppy pack, familiar items to help them settle and information about their routine, feeding and care. They can, of course, be viewed at home with their mum Lula, who prospective families are very welcome to meet. Finding their families Finding wonderful, permanent homes for these puppies is much more important to me than simply finding them homes quickly. I would therefore love to hear a little about you, your family, your lifestyle and the home you could offer one of our puppies when enquiring.
