Unfortunately its with a heavy heart that we are looking to rehome our handsome Collie Gunnar, Unfortunately working full time and 3 kids at home with 2 under 2 its even more difficult for him to get the attention he deserves fully. Gunnar is a 2yrs old, non intact short hair tri/black and tan with amazing markings Border Collie. He's an amazing Boy thats great with kids and other dogs. He gets on okay with cats but does like to stalk them around the house. He absolutely loves attention and belly rubs and to play, and when walking he doesn't stop and is always looking to play with other dogs or play with his toy. He's been trained well by ourselves, and knows all the basics like sit, wait, place/bed, fetch, paw ect and will even play dead if you say "bang", he does heel and walk closely and will sit or lay down untill hes recalled or give his release word "break". He's toilet trained very well and has never sprayed his scent in the house. He also crate trained which has always been used for feeding and night time sleeping. Outside he does have somewhat great recall that works 9.5 times out of 10, when on the lead sometimes he can be a slight bit pully but most of the time he's okay. He was originally from a working parentage but his only form of working has been tricks, learning and play. He isn't reactive to traffic but is a tiny bit sensitive to the noise motorcycles make but other than that generally fine when walking by roads ect. He has been microchiped and had his vaccinations, regularly flea treated and wormed. Again this hasn't been an easy desicion for us but we would love for him to go to a loving family that can give him the time and exercise he deserves. Any questions please ask.
