Description
I am looking to rehome Caspian. There will be no cost in adopting him.
I am seeking people with experience of owning cats. I will not consider applicants who live in flats or claim benefits.
I will only consider homes with safe outdoor space so that Caspian can gradually be introduced to the outside.
Currently, Caspian lives in a one-bedroom top-floor flat. He needs a home where he will eventually be able to go outside and run freely. He has experience going out in my communal stairwell which is slightly inconvenient due to my other neighbours.
He has experience going outside whilst I am monitoring him. He has occasionally gone out without my knowledge but never likes to go too far. He likes to stay close to his food and litter source.
Caspian is not looking for an owner who will simply close the door on him and hope he returns. He is used to being indoors at night where he safe & sleeps.
He has been an indoor cat for three years and will need someone to keep an eye on him. He is not a lap cat and has never sat on my lap. He does sit next to me on the sofa. He doesn’t really like to be picked up either
Likes: watching cat TV, having his face brushed, liquorice licks which he is very fond of.
He is very treat-orientated and still very playful. I am unsure if this is because he is under-stimulated.
Caspian is a good-natured cat. He has been well-cared for.
I do not think he would do well with children or other cats.
His microchip is in place and he is neutered. He is cat litter trained and will require a litter tray in your home.
Anyone considering rehoming Caspian should be willing to travel to Greenwich, London to collect him. I will also want to do a WhatsApp video call to ask a few questions to ensure Caspian is going to the right home.
I am particularly annoyed by people sending me messages asking if he is available. I tend to ignore their messages.
