Description

Meet Ziggy, our former street king -turned - indoor goofball! Once the neighbourhood boss, Ziggy ruled his turf with swagger until a run-in with a younger rival cause dhim significant injuries and convinced him to retire from the outdoor life. Now he’s embracing the comforts of his foster home, swapping back-alley battles for cosy naps - though he’s kept just enough sass to remind you of his past. With his endearing cross-eyed charm and larger-than-life personality, Ziggy is full of character. He loves affection on his terms and might give you a playful nibble or swat if you miss his signals, but he never means harm. He’s also a chatterbox, always ready to tell you his tales when the mood strikes. Ziggy would thrive with an experienced cat person who appreciates his cheeky ways and will give him the space, and the love, he needs to shine. Ziggy is: ✅ 8 years young ✅ Vaccinated ✅ Microchipped ✅ Dewormed ✅ Neutered ✅ Blood tested (FIV+ / FeLV-) ✅ Vet health checked Ziggy is FIV+, which means he is more susceptible to viruses than other cats. It is only transmissible between cats, when saliva enters the blood stream (eg through a deep bite). Ziggy gets on with other cats though and has been living in perfect harmony with other cats in his foster home, so he could go to a home with other friendly, gentle cats. To keep him healthy, he needs a strictly indoor-only home and to maintain his checkups with his vets to ensure he stays on top of his vaccines etc. Just because of his FIV (likely picked up from his street life), we don't think Ziggy is any less deserving of a warm and loving forever home for the rest of his adulthood and into his senior years. He is a charming boy with so much to give his forever pawrent. If you can give Ziggy his forever home, we would love to hear from you. Drop us a message and we will send you a pre-adoption form to complete. We also require a home video check and if you have any questions, one of our small team of volunteers are on hand to answer any questions. We look forward to hearing from you!
