Hey, this is Hades he’s a male pure Japanese Akita inu - I bought him from the breeders when he was 4 months basically already 5 months old. He struggles with people reactivity he has gone to bite three people and I’ve only had him a month (I’m not talking about puppy biting, I’m talking about growling and biting through either fear or protectiveness. Japanese Akitas are a large breed and honestly I need to rehome him due to me not having the strength to hold him back if something goes wrong, I bought a dog for my mental health,my partner suggested this breed and even tho I did loads of research they are not the breed I needed since he’s not a very affectionate companion dog. Other than his people aggression he’s very chill and great with dogs and children above the age of 12 who are calm and respectful- he doesn’t really cuddle or sleep in bed with you he just does his own thing but can’t be left alone for long period
He’s potty trained and walks on the lead nicely when he gets to know you the command is (with me) he knows paw, down, sit and bang (which is play dead) he know heel and guard (he sits in the middle of your legs) he’s fully vaccinated worming and flea treatment up to date, he will comes with a collar and a harness x2 and a rain jacket and a slow feeder bowl. Please only get him if you’ve done your research on the breed or know anything about people reactivity in dogs because this is not easy at all/ if you have had this breed before.
He’s being fed on bella&Duke raw food.
I want him to go to a good home that know what they are doing so I will definitely ask some questions before allowing you to comes see him - you need to have a big back garden or atleast a back garden with a high fence.
And you will be able to meet him in neutral territory as it will be easier for him.
