We are looking for a loving, experienced home for our 4 year-old African Grey parrot, who has been raised in a family home environment and treated very much as a family member. He is an extremely intelligent and quick-learning bird. He picks things up very fast, copies sounds and words with ease, and often imitates voices, tones, and household noises within minutes. He is very talkative, interactive, and enjoys engaging with people throughout the day. He has a friendly, confident personality and is very people-orientated. He enjoys being around family, responds well to attention, and thrives on interaction. His intelligence really shows in how quickly he understands routines and learns new things. He has always lived indoors in a home setting, is well-settled in everyday household life, and is used to regular interaction. He has never been bred from, and this is a private rehoming, not related to any breeding or commercial activity. This is a very difficult decision, made due to personal family circumstances, and his welfare is our top priority. We are looking for a knowledgeable, long-term home that understands the commitment and mental stimulation African Greys need.
