This is Meg, she is 7 years old, and has been the best dog we have ever had, we've had her since 2019 and she has been such a lovely part of our family. She is loyal, really friendly and loves people, gets on well with other dogs once she knows them (she's a little cautious at first but most dogs are), she currently lives with a sausage dog who she loves, she absolutely loves long walks or runs on the beach or anywhere really! She is ball mad, is good off the lead and has good recall and comes back with one shout, she is housetrained, and will actually go for a wee if you tell her to. She knows basic commands but is a very smart dog and would learn quickly if someone wanted to train her properly. We are absolutely gutted to have to re-home Meg as we love her to pieces, but with total transparency, we have had a baby 2 months ago and unfortunately she needs to be in an adult only home, as she is very jealous and possessive over my husband, she has never showed any signs of physical aggression, but she is panting and pacing around when he has the baby in his arms, and we also can't walk her like we used to because my husband now works from 5am til 6pm and I'm full time looking after the baby, I just feel like it's unfair on both Meg and us to keep her just for the sake of love, as she deserves better, I'd rather she went to a lovely adult only home where she will absolutely thrive and get lots of exercise and loves like she deserves. She is a brilliant dog, and I just want the best for her. I will only be looking to re-home her to genuinely interested and responsible people, who will love her, care for her and walk her in the same way that we did, so if this sounds like something you're interested in, please send me a message :) price can be negotiated if we find the right home.
