Please meet this beautiful, gentle boy with a Heart Full of Love, who is looking for a loving home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by kindness, cuddles and security. This handsome black, hairless Chinese Crested/Schnauzer cross is 10 years old and has the sweetest nature. He may be an older gentleman with only a few teeth remaining, but he has a heart full of love and so much affection to give to that special person who will open their home to him. Sadly, this lovely boy was born and lived in our family home my former partner has now left so he is in my sole care. I have done my very best to look after him and ensure he has been safe and loved, but due to a change in my personal circumstances, I am unfortunately no longer able to care for him. This has not been an easy decision, and I desperately want to find him the loving, secure home he deserves. He has already experienced enough change in his life, and my greatest wish is for his next home to be his forever home. He really is the sweetest little soul. He is soft, gentle, affectionate and absolutely loves a cuddle. He adores his food and enjoys being close to his people, soaking up all the love and attention he can get. He doesn’t ask for much from life, just a warm, cosy bed, a loving person by his side, tasty meals and somewhere he can feel safe and cherished. What you need to know about him? * House-trained: Completely house-trained. * Other dogs: Currently living happily with 2 other dogs (who I am also rehoming) and gets on really well with them. * Walks: Not his favourite but is used to walking on a lead but can feel nervous when out and about. He would benefit from a calm, patient owner who will give him reassurance and allow him to build his confidence at his own pace. * Food: He absolutely loves his food! * Health: He is generally in very good health, although he could benefit from losing a little more weight. He has only a few teeth left, but this doesn’t stop him from he’s good appetite and loving his chews. At 10 years old, he is a mature little gentleman who is ready to enjoy the quieter pleasures of life. He doesn’t need endless adventures or a busy household; he deserves comfort, companionship, gentle walks and someone who will love him just as he is. The forever home he deserves… I am hoping to find someone with a kind heart who understands the special bond that comes with an older dog. Someone who sees that age is just a number and that older dogs have so much love, loyalty and companionship left to give. He would benefit from a patient and understanding home where he can settle in at his own pace, especially when out on walks. He is currently happy living alongside other dogs, so a suitable canine companion may be a lovely bonus, provided introductions are handled carefully. Please don’t let his age put you off. He is a beautiful boy with a gentle nature, and he deserves the chance to be someone’s treasured companion rather than being overlooked simply because he is no longer a puppy. It breaks my heart that I cannot keep him myself, but finding the right home for him is what matters most.
