Mayo – Looking for the Right Home 💙
Mayo is a lovely adult Shih Tzu boy who is looking for a new sofa to call his own. He’s around eighteen months to two years old.
He’s being rehomed through no fault of his own - there has been ongoing bickering between the boys in the household, and Mayo is the one we feel would adapt easiest to a new home. He’s confident, adaptable and genuinely enjoys people. Once he gets to know you he's very affectionate.
We did not have Mayo as a puppy he’s been with us just under a year now.
Initially we did deal with the bickering well but at this point it’s just right for both the boys to be separate. It’s a very very tough decision.
Hes great with other dogs but would suit being homed as an only dog, with females or maybe with a neutered boy. I will not however put him in the situation where he is having to aim to become top male dog again... because boy loves a challenge even if he is teeny tiny- 7-8lb of character.

🏡 What we’re looking for
A pet home where Mayo can relax and be adored. He’s not being placed for breeding just as a much-loved companion. He would suit being with maybe a retired couple or someone with older children. Hes always lived with other dogs so he does need company be it someone at home most of the time or another dog for companionship. I’d love to find someone who would send us the odd update of him living his best life.
