Selling because I have a newborn and it’s just too much for me.
I absolutely adore the male (called Aurora as we thought he was a she 😂), he’s noisy, hand reared, sings Earth Wind Air and Fire (he will sing others if you commit to training him). I’ve had him since he was 5wks old - he is 10yrs old.
The female I bought (Khaleesi) to keep him a bit quiet honestly - she’s beautiful but a bit shy and will need a bit more training as I bought her at over a year old - she is 3 now.
Both love freedom, and will sit on top of their cage (Aurora loves his box)- they will come to the perch if you need to put away, Aurora is happy on fingers, shoulders s, heads but is very obsessed with his girlfriend so they hate being apart. They sleep a lot and will let you know if they’re hungry, sleepy or want to fly.
I have lots of food for them that I’m willing to throw in, toys, one large white cage pictured with wheels and a base trolley, a smaller black cage suitable for the garden on nice days and a travel cage if needed. This is all worth roughly £250 brand new.
Honestly I’m only willing to give this to a family who will really love and look after them. They do not need lots of attention as they have each other and I found they’re a good way to get children to be responsible for something other than themselves!
