Description
The Twixlets are now 4 weeks old, confident, and their little personalities are just starting to shine through! Three puppies have already been chosen by their new families, with one more being chosen tomorrow — further viewings will follow after that. That will leave either 2 boys or 1 boy and 1 girl available. Puppies will be ready to leave from 8–10 weeks depending on individual development.
The Parents
Sire — Jack, a KC registered working cocker spaniel with a field trial champion grandsire & exceptional working temperament.
Dam — Twix, a liver and tan working cocker spaniel owned & raised by a professional reward-based dog trainer.
What Makes This Litter Different?
Every puppy received Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) from days 3–16 — a gentle, science-backed programme of daily handling exercises proven to produce puppies with stronger stress tolerance, better problem-solving ability, and greater confidence. Look it up!
Alongside this, puppies are benefiting from Early Scent Introduction (ESI), where they’re introduced to a wide range of scents from a very young age. This helps build neural pathways associated with scent processing & discrimination, laying the groundwork for confident, capable noses later in life — whether that’s for scent work, gundog training, or simply a more enriched, engaged dog.
We’re also following the Puppy Culture 7/7 protocol, ensuring each puppy experiences 7 different surfaces, locations, challenges, and more by 7 weeks of age, further building resilience and adaptability.
As they’re still only 4 weeks old, formal training foundations will begin in the next week or so once they’re a little older. In the meantime, puppies are benefiting from daily handling, house training foundations, and extensive socialisation with multiple adult dogs & other animals in a busy, varied household — all guided by a professional dog trainer using fear-free, reward-based methods.
Our Requirements
All potential new families are vetted, and puppies will only go to the very best homes — this is not first come, first served. Spaniel or working breed experience would be strongly preferred.
All puppies leave on a signed contract. Key conditions include:
• No neutering before 18 months unless medically necessary
• Attendance at fear-free, reward-based puppy classes (working gundog homes exempt)
• Right of first refusal should you ever be unable to keep the dog
We reserve the right to refuse any enquiry.
Health & Documentation
Puppies are microchipped prior to leaving. Vaccinations are discussed individually with prospective handlers, as different vets use different brands & protocols — we prefer this conversation over a blanket decision.
A £500 deposit is required at the time of reserving your puppy. You must view and reserve in person.
