One house-trained 2-year old male looking for a FOSTER HOME from 1st September 2026. 100% Fluff without the Fuss! Bernie is a 2-year old Bichon-Poodle cross (Poochon). He’s so loving, house trained, loves a cuddle, going for walks, and playing fetch. He’s good with children, and loves other dogs. Yet to make friends with a cat, but who knows! I’m moving into new accommodation for a new job on 1st September 2026 and pets are not allowed, so sadly I can’t take him with me. So, Bernie needs a new home! Someone who can give him the love and fun he thrives for! Ideally, you live around the Acton area in London or within cycling distance (I.e., North Acton, Harlesden, Shepherd’s Bush, Notting Hill, Ealing, Hammersmith, Brent, Central London). This is a little unusual because I still want to be part of his life, so you also get me as a friend! What I’m offering: • I’m available to take him for walks, and to help care for him, • I can look after him on weekends, and even dog-sit for free if you’re out for the evening (dog-cover can be very expensive!) • I will pay for all of his food, vet subscription, and pet insurance. • A £200 deposit from you upon fostering; refunded at the end of fostering. What you’re looking for: • All the fluff without any of the fuss of having a new puppy (honestly, it was a lot when he was a puppy! Though so cute - pic attached) • A dog who can settle straight into your home, is house trained and is used to a routine. • A dog to live with you, but you’re not sure if you’re ready to commit long term, or you would welcome some help, • You can adopt him for a year initially, then decide to extend for longer (no extra cost), • You want to trial being a dog parent, without any of the cost or commitment. I had him from a puppy, so we have all the pictures of him with his parents and 3 brothers. He’s been neutered.
