EXPERIENCED, ADULT-ONLY HOME REQUIRED Lola is a rescue looking for a very specific home where her needs can be properly understood and respected. You must be experienced dealing with a rescue that will bite when scared. ⚠️ PLEASE READ THE REQUIREMENTS CAREFULLY. DO NOT MESSAGE IF YOU DO NOT MEET THEM. Lola must be in a home with: ❌ No other dog, cats or other pets ❌ No children ✅ A secure, private garden ✅ An experienced owner who understands nervous/reactive rescue dogs ✅ Someone willing to give her time, patience and consistency while she builds trust Lola comes from a previous situation that is suspected to have been traumatic, and she can be fearful of unfamiliar handling. One particularly important point is her harness handling. Lola will bite if an unfamiliar person attempts to put a harness on her before she trusts them. This is a serious requirement and must not be underestimated. You must have a garden for this reason, she is trained to go outside for her breaks but for the first few weeks you will have to build trust by using her slip lead first and then switching to her harness so having a garden to let her out while you build trust is essential!! Initially, her new owner will need to use a slip lead rather than attempting to put a harness on her. Harness training can then be introduced gradually once Lola has built a trusting relationship with her new owner. She is not a suitable dog for someone looking for an easy or immediately social pet. She needs an owner who is prepared to work at her pace and respect her boundaries. However once she trust you there will be endless love. With trust and patience, Lola can form a very strong loving bond with her person and is very cuddly. She deserves a stable home where her needs are understood and where she will be given the time to settle and trust you. I am only looking to rehome her because her and my other Pomeranian are not getting along. The price is not negotiable.
