Luna – 6 Month Old Border Collie / Polish Hunting Dog Cross – Looking for a Loving Home
Luna is a beautiful 6-month-old Border Collie / Polish Hunting Dog cross looking for a new loving home.
We originally agreed to look after Luna temporarily, but the situation became permanent. Unfortunately, we already have another dog and live in a top floor flat, and with space becoming limited — especially with my partner’s children visiting more frequently — it’s becoming too overcrowded for two dogs long-term.
This has been an incredibly difficult decision for us because Luna is a lovely dog and we truly do not want to give her up, but we know she deserves a home with more space and the lifestyle that suits her energy and intelligence.
Luna is great with children, other dogs, and other pets and has a very affectionate nature. She is especially gentle around children. When they first arrive she can become a little excitable because she is happy to see them, but she settles down quite quickly after the initial greeting. After that she is calm and well-behaved around them. She isn’t jumpy or rough with children and tends to stay relaxed in their presence. She will often sit quietly next to them or lie beside them for cuddles, and she loves bringing her toys over and placing them near them so they can play with her. It’s very clear she enjoys their company and interacts with them in a very sweet, calm and friendly way.
She loves cuddles, enjoys going out for walks, and is a very loving companion. She is also crate trained and can be very obedient.
She is a very intelligent dog and has already learnt several commands including sit, lie down, come here, and stay, which she picked up very quickly during her first walks.
Because of her breed mix, Luna is a high-energy dog and would suit an active home where she can get plenty of exercise, stimulation, and attention. She can be a little vocal on walks, but she is not aggressive.
Luna is not yet spayed due to her age.
She is ****************** for the right owner, however we will want to make sure she is going somewhere that can provide the exercise, stimulation, and love she deserves. We may ask a few questions about the home she would be going to, just to make sure she finds the best possible match.
We are based in Llandudno and are looking for a genuine, caring home that understands energetic working breeds.
