Description
This is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, and writing this breaks my heart.
I am looking to rehome my Cane Corso, aged 1 year and 5 months. This is absolutely no fault of his own — he is deeply loved, but I need to put his needs first and find a home that can truly give him everything he deserves.
He is good with children and other dogs, house trained, and walks well on the lead without pulling. He is still young and has so much potential, but he does need ongoing training, structure, and consistency to help him grow into the amazing dog he can be.
He is a big, powerful breed and would be best suited to someone with experience of large or guardian breeds, who understands the importance of training and routine.
Health-wise, he does have a cherry eye. He has been seen by the vet, who has confirmed it is not causing him any issues and is absolutely fine to leave as it is, though treatment can be done if a new owner wishes. He also has one descended testicle, and the vet has advised that he will need to be neutered in the future.
This is not a decision I’m taking lightly. I will be very selective about where he goes because he deserves a safe, stable, and loving forever home.
