Description

Ronnie and Reggie are both male Mongolian gerbils who have been living together since birth. They are brothers and should not be separated from each other as this causes them sever panic. Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, I just do not have the time these boys deserve. They are absolutely incredible and so loving. Once you have built a bond with them, like any other animal, they will eventually warm up to you and will be willing to handling and playing. They are chewers! They were in a lovely wooden enclosure that gave them incredible space but… they chewed it. So, unfortunately, for the time being, they have been living in a temporary enclosure from pets at home (it’s the biggest one i can find) I have plenty of pictures of their enclosure set ups over the past year and you will find that they will just bury everything so if you want your enclosure to look pretty, these are not your boys as they will leave it bare. I have tried countless of times to re-home these two to the blue cross and rspca but I have not been successful. These boys will not be sold to any random person. I must ensure that the person who is interested has experience and will provide the correct care for them. You will need to buy them a proper enclosure. They will come with: • Enclosure • Food/Water bowls • Food, seeds, mealworms and treats • Sand + sand bath • Bedding (wood shavings) they much prefer this to paper bedding. • Wheel + all inner enrichment/equipment • Play pen • Carrier (for vet visits, if needed which they haven’t yet) They are both perfectly healthy boys who love to dig, love to explore you and most importantly chew!! Hopefully you won’t mind a few holes in your jumper. Collection only.
