Blue & Gold Macaw – 6 Months Old (Hand-Reared, Socialised, Vet Checked)
This beautiful 6-month-old Blue and Gold Macaw has been hand-reared and is exceptionally tame. She is flight-trained on command, confidently flies to her perch, and reliably responds to “step up,” “shake hand,” and “turn around.”
She is well-socialised and fully accustomed to normal household noise, children, and daily activity. She has also begun outdoor desensitisation (cars, people, and new environments), and this training is progressing very well.
A fast learner, she is intelligent, capable, and eager to bond. She is harness-trained, though she prefers not to wear it for long periods.
She has been seen by an avian vet, is microchipped, PBFD tested, sex tested, and has had recent fecal testing — all confirming she is a perfect example of a healthy Blue & Gold Macaw.
Her diet consists of fresh chop, high-quality pellets, and a variety of nuts as treats. She loves her food and happily tries almost everything offered.
Overall, she is a loving, confident young macaw who is ready for a new home that can continue her training and provide plenty of interaction, enrichment, and flight time.
