Description
This is Harley, he is the most beautiful boy, he has a wonderful nature 🥰 His birthday is 24.09.25 so just 8 months old, his vaccinations are up to date. He has the makings of a wonderful companion, and an excellent family dog, he is very clever and capable of learning.
I have only had him 2 weeks, he does the litte excitable wee occasionally, he's had no accidents since I've had him. I was told he could sit, wait and walked well on a lead. I have some mobility issues but thought great I have the patience and the time to train him. He does sit and go to bed when told, his recall in the garden is great. He will bring a ball or toy back and plays around when he brings it back but will let you take it off him, and sits until its thrown again for him. He loves cuddles, and his toys. He has a bit of a soft spot for socks 🧦 so don't leave them lying around 😂 Harley gets on excellent with my daughters dog who is double his size, and he is uninterested in my cat. He is very good with my grandchildren ages 11 months to 9 years. Harley is very food motivated and does listen. I am working on him sitting and waiting, and we are slowly getting there. He will walk ok outside if it is quite or in a park, but struggles with road noise (another thing i wasn't told). He came to me from a household with two young children, but I believe during the day he was mainly thrown outside or locked in the kitchen, until the dad came home from work. Morally I'd never buy a pet and give up on it, and yes it is said a lot but I truly am heartbroken even after such a short time to have to come to this decision. My home life circumstances have changed dramatically over night 🥺. My daughter plus her very large dog have moved back home. She works 12 hour shifts and I just can't manage two dogs, and put the work into training Harley, without the other dog butting in, she is very spoilt. I don't want Harley to go to anyone. I need to know he will have a GOOD & KIND home and you will continue with his training. In the evening he'll come and lay next to my feet 😍.
I've bought him a new collar, harness, straight and extendable leads. Bid cushioned bed, bowls, toys. He comes with everything hence I am asking a small fee, and to recoup a little of what I paid.
