Description

Lovely 18 month old rescue pointer looking for forever home. Medium prey drive, therefore livinh with cats or other small animals is not advisable. Friendly and sociable with other dogs. As a rescue, she still displays traits of anxiety and is nervous of new people and things. She is fully house trained and would love a dog flap too! High fencing is a must as she quite likes a solo adventure. Work is needed on recall. She understands basic commands like sit, fetch and down. She is a medium sized dog, but happy to be picked up and cuddled. She is still young and at times bouncy and boisterous in play, so living with young children is not recommended. She currently lives with 2 teens and a 7 year old. She needs an understanding and an experienced household where someone is home most of the time. She is fine to be left for blocks of time occasionally for up to 5 hours, but has constant garden access. We are working on car travel, which is much improved. She is vaccinated, deflea'd and wormed. She will come with lifelong back up, holiday cover, and basics to help her re-adjust to her new life, such as a familiar bed and toys. Adoption fee will include a donation back to the vital rescue centres that help dogs like this to find safety.
