Sweet and gentle Maya is just 19 months old. She's such a friendly and easy girl that she'll make a wonderful pet for a very lucky family. Maya is fully vaccinated, treated for internal and external parasites, vet checked and healthy. She has been spayed and is microchipped.
Maya adores other dogs and is friendly and playful with every dog she meets. She's currently in foster in Worthing, West Sussex with 9 other dogs of all shapes and sizes and gets on perfectly with them all. She's not food possessive, takes treats gently amongst a crowd of other dogs, shares toys nicely and loves to rough and tumble or play chasing games. She'd love a doggy brother or sister and a garden to romp in. No cats please as she'd rather like to chase them!
Maya hops happily into a car or van and travels quietly and calmly. She's clean in the house, doesn't chew, we haven't yet heard her bark and she can be left for a couple of hours with no issues. Maya doesn't try to get on the furniture or go upstairs and settles quietly all night downstairs. She's coming to the office in the morning on weekdays where she curls up quietly in her bed and sleeps while the office staff work around her!
Maya is still learning her basic obedience commands and is quick to learn and alert. Any adoptive family would need to be committed to continuing her training. She can be a little strong on the lead as she loves her walks, but will definitely go off lead as soon as she's fully bonded with her new family.

We prefer homes within easy reach of Worthing, West Sussex so that we are on hand for support day or night.
