Description

Beautiful grey and white Faith is 16-months and is looking for her forever home. Faith came into us when she was 6-months old, via a local vet. Sadly, Faith has had a non-healing wound on the back of her neck since admission. We do not know if it was caused by her vaccine, her flea spot on or her chip. We tried multiple medications, biopsy, removed her chip and replaced it and, eventually, it has healed and our vet has now signed her off. It has now been healed for some time so we are hopeful it has fully resolved but we cannot promise this. We recommend future tablet parasite treatment, incase it was caused by the topical flea treatment and that further booster jabs be done in the tail or hind leg. Despite her trials and tribulations, Faith is a very friendly and sociable cat. She is basically a dog in cat’s clothing, greeting her humans on arrival and rubbing all over their legs. She is full of energy and character. She will light 💡up any room she’s in 😻. She is the perfect companion and a once in a lifetime cat🫶🏼. She follows her fosterers round the house and ‘helps’ with anything that’s going on……. mostly in the most inappropriate way. She will regularly walks through her fosterers’ legs. However, this could constitute attempted murder on her part, especially if the action is carried out at the top of the stairs. Therefore, she won’t be suitable to be homed with anyone with mobility issues. Care would also be needed with any young children. Faith is a very high energy girl and needs PLENTY of stimulation, on a regular basis. She needs enrichment and is a big fan of fluffy toys 🧸🐥, that she can hunt down. She will throw toys to herself, with her paws or her mouth and chase it down again, for hours on end. She’s a pro at destroying simple cat toys and would benefit from strong ones, such as Kong. She Regularly gets the zoomies and, being a long girl, she will need a lot of space in her new home, to do all of this in!! Faith is an adventurous explorer 🗺️🧭 and will discover new and hidden lands inside and outside of her new home. She is a little chaos causer and will knock stuff down, pick things up in her mouth and run away with them. She can jump 🦘higher than anyone would expect. She will bring a lifetime of banter to her humans’ day ……. If under-stimulated, Faith will make her own entertainment. She will chew through unattended cables and wires, find gages and food pouches. It would, therefore, be useful to have a cat or child lock safe cupboard for important or unsafe items. She can and WILL open doors herself. She’s a little Houdini. Faith is more than content to play on her own and will do so for hours, as long as she is provided with many forms of cat stimulation, toys and high climbing spaces, such as large cat trees. She would benefit from a cat wall and shelves in her new home. She just needs to have all of her needs met. Faith does have many quirks, which can amuse anyone;- she enjoys playing with water, be it still in a water bowl or flowing straight from the tap. she enjoys throwing herself into open bags and throwing toys into them, to chase after🏊 like a little Olympian diver ! she LOVES a good fuss, strokes and being rubbed all over. She fires up her siren of a purr and she will return the love by grooming you back, with her little barbed wire tongue💜 Faith would benefit from outdoor access, once settled into her new home. This will allow her to burn off more energy and entertain herself. She is a super social girl, however and would likely speak to anybody 👀 stranger danger. Therefore, she would need to be homed to a very safe area. She will need a busy, lively family home, with lots of people to keep her entertained. She gets on well with cats but prefers people. She will play with a cat for a short period, so a more aloof neutered resident cat would be a good match. She could also live with a tolerant playful dog, who is able to keep up with her!!. Due to her profession as an assassin, she wouldn’t be safe homed with older people or those with mobility issues. Faith is in foster in L11 and has been neutered, chipped, parasite treated and is fully vaccinated. If interested in adopting Faith, please call us on ************ and leave a voicemail. Adoption fee of £125 and vetting applies.
