Description

Posting on behalf of my mother in law- if I think you’re the right home I will pass her number along His name is kong and he is 3 and a half years old, he’s okay with other dogs but he can be very full on- he needs someone with experience with the breed and someone to be strict with training. He’s well behaved but takes play too far as he gets too excited, he doesn’t realise his own strength He’s good on the lead, can pull at times but keeps to his own pace- he’s lazy, not a huge fan of long walks and is very stubborn once he’s decided he’s had enough. He can be territorial with treats- best left alone whilst eating He loves attention- he’s a very cuddly dog and has loads of love to give The training comes into play time- he doesn’t understand when he’s being too much and needs someone to be strict with him when he gets too excited. Hes crate trained and his crate will come with him He needs someone that’s home majority of the day or can take him with them, he’s very clingy and doesn’t like being left alone for too long. He needs to be rehomed due to no fault of his own, he’s a lovely boy but my mother in law doesn’t have enough time for him anymore- we want what’s best for him and the best home, we won’t let him just go with anyone, we will need to make sure that you’re 100% committed to him and can give him all of the love and attention he deserves. We would love to stay in contact with his new home- this isn’t an easy choice but it is the best option for everyone. He’s okay with young children as long as he’s in a calm environment but when he’s playful it’s best for him to be separated from children as he gets too excited- don’t let his size fool you, he can be a bulldozer and will need to be supervised whilst with any child regardless of age.
