Morse is a beautiful Labrador bred from working gundog lines and originally sold into police service, where he was trained as a cash, firearms and drugs detection dog.
In training, Morse was outstanding – intelligent, focused, and with an exceptionally strong sense of smell. Unfortunately (and charmingly), his kind and gentle nature meant that when it came to operational work, he would happily choose a treat and affection over “earning” it. Because of this, he was released from service.
What Morse does offer is something incredibly special.
✨ Temperament:
• Super friendly, affectionate, and people-focused
• Extremely placid and calm
• Never growls or barks
• Very needy in the best possible way – he just wants to be close and please
• Fantastic nature for family homes or assistance-type roles
👃 Ability:
• Exceptionally strong nose
• Would have been an ideal candidate for an epilepsy or medical alert role
• Intelligent, responsive, and eager to engage

• No health issues
• Loves food a little too much and doesn’t know when to stop… but then again, he is a Labrador!
