Description

Bree is a 3 month old female dwarf hamster. She's still quite young, very cute and really speedy. Bree absolutely loves darting in and out of her hides, over and under her enrichment. She loves her wheel, and destroying sprays is one of life’s great joys. When it comes to treats, she’s already shown she has very healthy habits, as a bit of kale or freeze‑dried squash makes her very happy. Handling is still a work in progress, but she's very well worth the effort. The hardest part of handling at the moment is simply catching her because she's so quick. But once she’s scooped up, she’ll tolerate a brief cuddle before she’s off on her next adventure. With patience and consistency, we're sure she’ll continue to grow in confidence with her human companions and she's going to undoubtedly make someone very happy indeed. Bree will need an enclosure that meets the minimum welfare standard of 100cm x 50cm x 50cm, with at least a 21cm wheel and plenty of enrichment to keep her busy, stimulated, and happily exploring. She is now ready to start looking for a home that appreciates her playful nature and can offer her the space and enrichment she thrives on.
