Description
(Not sure why it says this is a litter, it’s just for a single dog)
Yoda is an incredible (nearly) 7 year old dog. She is fairly well trained for a Frenchie. Though struggles with impulse control with high value things.
She sits, waits, goes up, down, lays down, gets down, backs up and gives incredible cuddles. Sometimes she even comes back when she’s far away. (Her recall is 80% there, but if something too exciting is around her she forgets all sense and reason - this is definitely something she could benefit from working with her new family with)
Yoda would benefit from a family who love going for long walks and to the beach. Yoda is used to being at home alone for 4-5h. She is not destructive and has free roam of the house. She is not crate trained though, with consistent and positive reinforcement I think she could be.
Yoda loves soft toys and regales in emptying the fluff from them. She also loves to shred cardboard.
She loves nothing more than to play fetch with her fave balls and pigs or tug with her tug toy.
She is on pooch and mutt food. She has a mild allergies to grains and chicken (though she loves chicken 🙄) and gets a cytopoint injection every 7-12 weeks. 7 weeks in high allergy seasons (spring and fall) 12 in winter and summer.
Yoda is used to being in a home as an only pet and I think she’d benefit from undivided attention.
She hates the hoovers, the ring doorbell and postmen/delivery drivers.
She also loves to scream at the laundry basket, I think they have ancestral beef, I try to not get involved it feels personal.
I am not looking to give her to anyone off the street. I made a promise to this wee girl that is find her the best home possible if I couldn’t continue to keep her and my health is such that her care is suffering, so I’m taking this heart wrenching decision.
I want Yoda to be spoiled beyond belief because she deserves it.
All she wants is cuddles and to play. She is an excitable girl, but has energy in 15 minute bursts about 6 times a day. The rest of the time she is sleeping on the couch next to me whilst I work or in her various beds.
I think she’d do incredibly well with someone who loved the outdoors and worked from home or somewhere she’s could be with them.
If you have any questions about her, or if you’d like to meet her let me know. We can organise something from
Sept 25th.
She will come with her closet of cloths (jackets and hoodies mostly) a few harness, all her leads, all her toys, her beds(she has one in each room) her fave food, her fave treats, any and all supplies I have.
If you’re local in Liverpool she will also
Come with a boarder recommendation (the person she stays with whenever I’m away) and a dog walker who can’t have her but would love to offer her help
To her new family. I think that continuity would be good for her as well.
