Description

We are delighted to announce the arrival of our outstanding litter of champions bloodlines pedigree Mini Australian Shepherd (MAS) puppies born on 2nd October. The Miniature American Shepherd is a compact and highly versatile herding breed, developed in the United States from the selective breeding of smaller Australian Shepherds to preserve their intelligence, agility and strong working instinct in a more manageable size, size 14-18 inch males and 13-17 inch females. Originally known as the Miniature Australian Shepherd, it became popular within equestrian communities, where its size and reliability made it a practical travelling companion as well as an effective working dog. It has since developed a distinct identity as a recognised breed in its own right. Traditionally used for herding smaller livestock such as sheep and goats, it possesses the hallmarks of a pastoral breed, being intelligent, responsive and ready to work. Despite its size, it is bold and energetic, with the ability to handle demanding tasks when required. It is equally at home on a working farm or in an active household, provided its needs are met. Today, the Miniature American Shepherd is recognised as an eye-catching and capable small herding dog, combining adaptability with a lively and devoted character. It is well suited to active owners seeking a smaller, agile dog capable of participating in a range of activities while remaining an affectionate companion in the home. Both mum and dad are purebred high show quality dogs. They are both UK Royal Kennel Club and American Kennel Club registered, and genetically health tested. They have wonderful temperaments—gentle, affectionate, and great with other animals and people. They live with us on our farm alongside children, horses, cats, and other dogs, and are very much part of our family. The puppies are growing up with plenty of attention and interaction, so they’ll leave us confident and well-socialised. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and friendly companion, these little dogs would make fantastic additions to the right home. Full pedigree of both parents can be found here: Ave Dinornis Kentucky Way One https://mas.db.dog/en/database/dog.php?id=13531 (SHANDELL THE BEAT GOES ON X TRAILS ENDS TATEM) Ave Dinornis Nevada https://mas.db.dog/en/database/dog.php?id=14849 (PEACEFUL ACRES AND GORDONVIEWS GOT IT TOGETHER X SCHAEFER'S SHOOTING STAR) We’re happy to answer any questions and help you decide if one of our puppies is the right fit for you.
